Blackberry Lemonade |you-made-that.com Thirsty anyone? I have a ton of blackberries due to my good friend with the blackberry farm, so I made some delicious blackberry lemonade. I like fruit drinks on the tart side so I had to add more sugar for the sweeties in my family. Try it out and see if you are sweet or tart.Blackberry lemonade |you-made-that.com

Blackberry Lemonade

Ingredient:
2 cups blackberries
1  1/2 cup sugar
5-6 lemons
water

Directions:
Step 1: First make a simple syrup of 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water, cook on high in small saucepan until sugar is dissolved. Let cool down a bit.
Step 2: Next wash the blackberries and put them in a food processor add 1/2 cup of sugar and let them sit for 10 min while you get the lemons ready.
Step 3: Cut about 6 lemons in half and juice them straining the pulp out.
Step 4: Process your berries and run them through a strainer or sieve to get all the seeds out.
Step 5: Pour lemon juice in 2 quart pitcher, add simple syrup and blackberry liquid. Stir, add ice and water until the pitcher is full.
Enjoy Summer time!
