Inexpensive Bathroom makeover

bathroom redue CollageI realize this post isn’t a recipe but every so often I need a little change so I thought y’all might too.  I love to watch HGTV and see all the house transformations and what not, it gets me motivated to try new things.  Oh, and then there is pinterest, it’s my go-to place now when I look up something on the web.  I am a visual kind of learner so pinterest really appeals to me and if you look at my pinterest account you can tell,  I think I have over a hundred boards 🙂 . Anyways,  when I talk about change in my house it usually involves paint, much to my husbands dismay. He is actually pretty good about letting me do whatever I want to in the house, but he hates to paint! I should say he paints cars for a living, so why is painting a wall or two a big deal? Well, I figured it out the other day, he likes a spray gun not a roller or paint brush 🙂 .  Spring arrived and I got the paint bug so I painted the kids bathroom twice in one week.   I first choose  grey paint and painted the bathroom then decided I didn’t like it so I painted this light yellow color but it’s actually called Tawny Birch by Glidden.   I really like how the yellow softens the bathroom and brightens it up.  These post is just a little motivation for everyone who wants an inexpensive change, grab a paint brush and roller and have some fun.

I bought the paint at Home Depot, I paid around $25.00 for the paint and I already had the brushes and any other paint supplies I needed. I think it produced a big change for my little bathroom but without a big investment.  Oh wait a minute I already forgot I painted the bathroom twice, but the first paint wasn’t this nice brand so it was less around $18.00. I also bought a brand new shower curtain on Overstock.com,still less than $100.00 is pretty good right?

Good day! I could have sworn I’ve been to this
website before but after reading through some of the post I
realized it’s new to me. Anyhow, I’m definitely glad I found it and I’ll be book-marking and checking back
often!
