Cinco de MayoPicMonkey CollageCinco de Mayo is a Mexican holiday to celebrate Mexican hertiage, and to celebrate Mexican victory over the French at the Battle of the Puebla in 1862. Typical celebrations range from parades, to dancing to Mariachi bands, and of course eating delicious food. All over the world this is a special day for Mexicans, for me it gives me a reason to make Mexican/American food, it’s one of my families favorites cuisines. If you’re looking for a recipe or two to help celebrate Cinco de Mayo with family or friends then check out these recipes.
