These potatoes are the perfect side dish for grilled meat or fish. Potatoes get a bad wrap these days but if they are cooked in a healthy way they have nutrients, vitamins and fiber vital to a healthy diet. Baking or roasting them is as simple as washing and chopping then adding garlic and herb seasoning to give these potatoes great flavor.
Baked Garlic & Herb Potatoes
4 large baking potatoes
2 garlic cloves crushed
2 tsp. of garlic salt
3 tsp. of Kirkland organic seasoning or your favorite
1/8 cup oil
Step 1: Wash and cut potatoes into bit size pieces and put in a gallon size ziplock bag.
Step 2: Add all the other ingredients to the potatoes and close bag, shake up the bag to coat evenly.
Step 3: Cook on cookie sheet or jelly roll pan for 30 min.at 400 degree, making sure to turn the potatoes about half way through cook time. Cook until fork tender.
